Privacy Policy
How Clean Best Services handles the personal information you give us when you ask for a cleaning quote or engage us to clean a site.
Clean Best Services (“Clean Best”, “we”, “us”) is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
We collect only what we need in order to quote and deliver a cleaning service. That is normally your name, your business name if you have one, a phone number, an email address, the address of the premises to be cleaned, and the details of the job itself — the type of premises, its size, access arrangements and the frequency you want.
For ongoing sites we also hold operational information such as key or access-code arrangements, alarm procedures, site induction records and the written scope of works. Where we invoice you, we hold billing details and payment records.
How we collect it
Directly from you: when you telephone us on 1300 494 983, email us at hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au, or speak with us during a site walkthrough. We do not buy contact lists and we do not obtain your details from third-party lead brokers.
How we use it
- To prepare a quote and a written scope of works.
- To arrange and deliver the cleaning you have engaged us for.
- To roster, induct and supervise the cleaner assigned to your site.
- To invoice you and keep the records the law requires us to keep.
- To contact you about your own site — a scheduling change, a supervisor audit, a question about access.
We do not sell your information. We do not disclose it for marketing purposes. We do not send marketing email to people who asked us for a quote and did not proceed.
Who we disclose it to
Only the people who need it to do the job: the cleaner and supervisor assigned to your site, our office staff, our accountant, and our insurer or lawyers if a claim or dispute makes that necessary. We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.
We do not subcontract cleaning work, so your site information is not passed to another cleaning business.
Access details and site security
Where you give us a key, a lockbox code, an alarm code or a swipe card, it is recorded against your site, issued only to the cleaner assigned to that site, and returned or revoked when the agreement ends. Access details are never stored alongside the site address in a form that would be useful to anybody who obtained one without the other.
Storage and security
Information is held in access-controlled systems and is available only to staff who need it. We keep records for as long as the law requires and for as long as they are needed to run the account, and we destroy or de-identify them after that.
Cookies and this website
This site does not run advertising trackers or third-party marketing pixels. If we introduce analytics to understand which pages are used, it will be limited to aggregate traffic reporting and will not be used to identify individual visitors.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Ring 1300 494 983 or email hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time and at no charge.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your information, contact us first — we would rather fix it than argue about it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
